From 2008 to 2009 Tales of TMNT writer Jake Black fought and won a battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which is a cancer of lymph tissue found in the lymph nodes, spleen, liver, bone marrow, and other sites in the body. He still is facing over $25,000 in medical treatment debt and would like your help and support in clearing away this financial burden. Jake is responsible for several issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comics, TMNT Movie Prequel, TMNT Collected Movie Books, and Tales of TMNT Vol.2. Specifically issues number 20, 37, 44, 47, 48, and 68. In issue 68 you actually read about the turtles fighting against some heavy duty cancer cells. Along with writing for TMNT, Jake also has written a multitude of other stories, featuring Ben 10, Dead@17, Ender’s Game, Toy Story, and more. You can see a complete list of his works here. There have been several contests, collectible sales, and more.
