Murakami Gennosuke<\/strong>\u00a0is a character from\u00a0Stan Sakai’sUsagi Yojimbo\u00a0comic book series. Also known by his nickname of\u00a0Gen<\/em>, Gennosuke is an anthropomorphic rhinoceros bounty hunter who sometimes accompaniesMiyamoto Usagi.<\/p>\n

2003 Series\"\"<\/h2>\n

Gennosuke is first seen in the episode\u00a0Big Brawl, Part 2. He retains his persona as a shady bounty hunter, but unlike in Usagi Yojimbo, he is a heavy gambler, as opposed to being a drunkard in the comics. In the\u00a0Battle Nexus\u00a0Tournament he defeats an unknown\u00a0Clawed\u00a0combatant in Tier 1, an unknownOctopus Contestantin\u00a0Tier 2 and receives a free pass to the semifinals, where he loses to\u00a0Kluh. Notably, Gen irritates the\u00a0Turtles\u00a0with his behavior, as well as\u00a0Casey, who he calls “Saru” (monkey or ape). In the episode\u00a0The Christmas AliensGen comes to the Turtles holiday party. In the episodeSamurai Tourist<\/em>, inspired by a\u00a0New York City\u00a0citizen, Gennosuke dons an outfit nearly identical to\u00a0Rocksteady’s.<\/p>\n
