Wise thus became one of the principal forces behind the reinvention of the darker toned black and white\u00a0Mirage Studios\u00a0title into a fun, bright, cheerful animated phenomenon, creating the classic phrases &#8220;Cowabunga, dude&#8221;, and developing original characters like\u00a0Krang\u00a0and\u00a0Rocksteady\u00a0and\u00a0Bebop.
