Action Feature: Crawlin’ and Slitherin’ Action!
Slitherin’ through the sewers, Splinter slides in sewer sludge as he sniffs his way around underground. Using his tail radar to find the Foot, Splinter sneakily squiggles and wiggles his way past Foot guards and sewer cats. Waist high in ooze, Splinter blinds the Foot with his rat lantern and tail search light, turning the dark pungent pipes into bright tungsten tunnels. This rascally rodent meanders through mazes of muck, searching for secret passageways into Shredder’s lair. So set Splinter down and send him on his next mutant mission.

The Foot Tech Ninjas are elite Foot Ninja that can turn invisible. Their cybernetic armor makes them faster and stronger than regular Foot Ninja.2003 Series
The Foot Tech Ninjas first appear in the episode, ‘The Way of Invisibility’ as Baxter Stockman’s newest invention for Oroku Sakito capture the “green skinned ninjas”. The technology Stockman is able to study from the strange armor piece allows the Foot Tech Ninjas to turn invisible, as well as enhance their physical capabilities. Saki orders Baxter to have the Foot Tech Ninjas bring him the creatures.
While Casey Jones and Raphael are our patrolling, they notice a group of Purple Dragons spray painting anti-Turtle graffiti. As they fight them, one thug escapes long enough to call and alert the Foot Tech Ninjas that a Turtle is there. The Foot Tech Ninjas ultimately defeat Raph and Casey. One of them drags Raphael away while the other one hands over Casey to the group of Purple Dragons.
After Hun lets Raph escape from captivity, he sends a squad of Foot Tech Ninjas to follow him, in hopes of Raph leading him to the others. The ninjas are able to follow Raph all the way into the sewers where they s
neak up behind him ready to attack.Donatello and Leonardointercept them however, using “TurtleVision” goggles. AsMikey and Casey join the fight, Don tells them that the cloaking device is around the chest area. Thinking they had won, the Turtles didn’t a notice another Foot Tech Ninja holding Casey over a whirlpool. The Foot Tech Ninja tells the Turtles to surrender. Leo, Don, and Raph comply and drop their weapons. They then notice Mikey sneaking above the Foot Tech Ninja holding Casey and he proceeds to kick him. The Foot Tech Ninja falls into the whirlpool as Casey is saved by Don. The guys easily defeat the rest of the ninjas and send them into the whirlpool along with their comrade.
Later, the Foot Tech Ninja squad is seen battered in front of a very angry Saki. Two of them drag out Stockman for another punishment, despite him being their creator.
In The Shredder Strikes Back, Part 1, the Foot Tech Ninjas appear again engaging in battle with Leonardo. They gain the upperhand by turning invisible, but are ultimately defeated when Leo covers his eyes to heighten his other senses. A few more of them are seen later as Hun’s back-up when he takes on Leo himself.
In Return to New York, Part 1, they are sent by Hun to find the Turtles who have infiltrated Oroku Saki’s tower. While following the Turtles in the Foot weapons hangar, Splinter senses their presence. Their invisibility gains them the advantage over the Turtles for most of the battle. However, Leonardo explodes a pair of fire extinguishers and they become visible. Donatello then uses a few shocking-shuriken to destroy their cloaking devices.
In Exodus, Part 1, some Foot Tech Ninjas ambush Donatello and Leatherhead under Saki’s mansion but are ultimately taken out by Leatherhead.
When Karai became the new Shredder, the Foot Tech Ninja wore new garments. They first appeared in the episode Scion of the Shredder where they help Karai attack the Turtles lair.
In New World Order, Part 1 they try to attack the Tengu Shredder with Dr. Chaplins mystic weaponry but are defeated by his magic.
They appear in the 2003 video game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus, and are playable in TMNT: Mutant Melee.
The Foot Tech Ninja toy was released in 2003. The Mini-Mutants Don vs. Foot Tech was released in 2007.

Foot Soldiers or Foot Ninjas make up the bulk of the Foot Clan.
Mirage Comics
In the Mirage Comics the Foot Soldiers were loyal servants to Oroku Saki, and later Karai. Each Foot Soldier was armed with akatana/spear/kama/nunchaku/fist dagger/knife/submachine gun/etc. and dressed in the same garb: a black, blue, red, grey, or pink Tunic, black, blue, grey, purple, or pink head mask with eye protectors and some armor on the shoulders. Leonardo commentated that their skills were good, but no match for the Turtles. The Foot Soldiers and the Turtles fought several more times until Saki was finally killed. Afterwards, the Foot fell into various splinter groups and were fighting over control of New York until Karai, the leader of the Foot inJapan, came back, killed each one of the 4 Foot Elites and regained control of the Foot.
Volume 4
In Volume 4, the Foot gained a security contract with the Utroms, who were visiting Earth on a peaceful diplomatic course. Although Karai had no problems with the Turtles and some, if not, most of the Foot apathetic to the matter, one Foot Soldier named Cha Ocho, had a strong dislike for the Turtles. The Foot were also attacked by mysterious warriors at this time, in which Leonardo was helping the Foot. They also developed an interest in the occult and distributing books of dark arts.
The Shredder utilized robot ninjas known as “Foot Soldiers” when he began his crime spree in New York City. However, they are not very effective in combat, as they fall apart easily (Turtle Tracks). The Turtles fought them in all five episodes of the first season however as the 1987s series go on they are seen less and less because Shredder usually has to do things himself with Bebop andRocksteady. However in Turtles Forever there are hundreds to thousands of them fighting the 2003 Turtles and the 1988s Turtles underground after leaving the Technodrome with Bebop and Rocksteady leading them into battle. This version of the Foot do not talk at all nor do they use ninja weapons but they use guns. A few episodes show them using swords and other weapons as well, especially during the first two episodes of the first season. In Turtles Forever they had a self destruct sequence that distracted the Turtles while the 1988s Shredder escaped with the Technodrome and almost left Bebop and Rocksteady behind. The 2003 Leonardo is shocked to see that the 1988s Foot Soldiers are robots since the 2003 Foot Ninjas are humans. The 2003 Michelangelo says the 1988s Foot Soldiers are exploding robots. The 2003 Raphael takes pleasure in destroying all of the 1988s Foot Soldiers without his brothers help and was having fun doing it until the 1988s Donatello threw a large boulder down and crushed several of the Foot Soldiers and said strike making the 2003 Raphael angry. In the cartoon, The Shredder once considered making more intelligent Foot Soldiers, capable of learning and taking decisions by themselves. One Foot Soldier named Alpha One was the only Foot Soldier who could talk and was seen in Season Four, in the episode was called The Foot Soldiers are Revolting. However, the idea was quickly abandoned when he rebelled against The Shredder. The Foot robot concept allowed the Turtles to destroy the Foot soldiers without any moral thoughts, allowing Leonardo and Raphael to use their weapons more offensively. Meanwhile the series could keep its younger audience and remain a “family show”. This principle also benefited the video games.
The Archie Comics TMNT Adventures comics features more advanced Foot Soldiers in addition to the basic model. In the comics, The Shredder also built a giant Foot Soldier, who fought against the Warrior Dragon in New York City. The robot was destroyed when it crashed into the Statue of Liberty.
The Shredder recruited many kids, mostly teens, from the streets and trained in the art of Ninjitsu. The kids made crime sprees in the city, financing their growing crime empire. (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) After the Shredder was supposedly killed in the first film, the Foot Ninja were severely beaten into a small group by the ninja turtles. This version of the Foot are dressed in black outfits, have red bandanas on their heads and bug eyes. They usually fight with swords, bo staffs, axes, and other weapons but will fight the Turtles with their bare hands if they have too. They are lead into battle by Tatsu in the first and second movie while Shredder stayed behind. The Foot were victorious in their first battle with the Turtles but in the second battle they went down pretty easily. Foot Ninjas are good in battle but most of the time they’re clumsy and the Turtles appear to be having fun with them in battle. Michaelangelo was taking them down while talking to Donatello and doing his Wheel of Fortune on them at April’s shop. When the Turtles first battle the Foot Michaelangelo says “I thought insurance sales men were pushy”.

Unlike the 1987 cartoon series on which they were based, the TMNT videogames introduced Foot Soldiers with uniforms of several different colours. These colours represent the type of weapons they are carrying.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Manhattan Missions uses Foot Soldiers from the Mirage Comics though they dress in black like the films.
Video games, based on the 2003 animated series, have Foot Soldiers which appear as they do in the 2003 series including a playable appearance in TMNT: Mutant Melee, where they are voiced by Jason Anthony Griffith.
Video games based off the 2007 film have Foot Soldiers from the film.
The fighting game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash-Up, allows you to play as a Foot Ninja, looking similar to the ones from the 2007 movie.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Arcade Attack brings back the concept of multi-colored Foot Ninja with different weapons, with standard, blue, and red (2003) and standard, gold, blue, and red (Cyber).

The Foot Mystics, also called “Heralds of the Shredder”, or Mystic Ninjas, are five elemental entities who each controls a classic element: Metal, Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. They all have the ability to regenerate body parts or shape their own bodies. Their bodies themselves are made of the element they command. The Earth, Fire, and Metal Mystics are voiced by Sean Schemmel, the Wind and Water Mystics by Brian Maillard in the 2003 TV series.2003 Series
It is seen in the series that the Mystics are powerful enough to even outmatch the Ninja Tribunal. They are called “Heralds of the Shredder” because they were loyal servants of the true Demon Shredder. They were first seen in the series as guards of the Utrom Shredder because they were being controlled by the Heart of Tengu. This artifact is demonic and holds the commands of the Mystics. The Utrom Shredder somehow knew this and took advantage of it. In “Return to New York, Part 2″, the Mystics awaken when the TMNT and Splinter attempt to infiltrate the Utrom Shredder’s tower. The Mystics outmatched the TMNT, until Splinter used the Sword of Tengu against their foes, using the elements the Mystics were composed of against each other.
In the episode “Bad Day”, it is revealed that the Foot Mystics have Black Magic powers, when they launch an attack against the Turtles on an astral plane. It is also said the Utrom Shredder had more respect for their power than Karai, but she repeatedly tells them that as long as she had the medallion, they will obey her with no questions asked. But it did not take long after their mistreatment at the hands of Karai that they became more determined to free themselves and after tricking the EPF, and the TMNT by proxy, into stealing the artifact, while the Mystics themselves allowed the TMNT to pass into the new Foot Tower. The Mystics broke free of the Utrom Shredder’s grip when Baxter Stockman destroyed the artifact and began to attempt and resurrect the true demon Shredder. When freed the Mystics were able to revert back to their true forms and were shown to be far more powerful then previously shown.
Despite their fanatical devotion to the demon Shredder, they were still abused by him for so much as saying anything he felt was out of line. Especially when they plead for their master to kill Karai for “stealing” his mantle, which doesn’t concern him the least, much to their displeasure. It was later revealed in the episode “Fathers & Sons” that they were disgusted at serving Ch’rell and hatched a plot to resurrect there master by using an invisible bone demon to gather the helmet, gauntlet and body from the “Ninja Tribunal”, but it was defeated by Master Splinter and the Ancient One. It was also revealed that the Mystics at some point in time sent out there demon servants to steal the gauntlet and helmet from the Tribunal and when they arrived in Japan they found their servants defeated by the new acolytes of the “Ninja Tribunal”, who were in fact the Turtles and 4 other brave warriors chosen by the tribunal. After a massive attack on the Lap of the Gods, the Mystics succeeded in recovering the Demon Shredder’s helmet, gauntlet and body and eventually revived the true Shredder. They are eventually killed in “Enter the Dragons, Part 1″ by the Turtles, which the Demon Shredder anticipated, especially since they plan to abandon their master to settle their grudge against Karai.
In the Fast Forward episode The Journal, the Metal Mystic in his original form appeared before Raphael andCasey Jones and teleported them to a deserted island in one of the pages of Casey and April’s journal that the Turtles were reading despite Splinter and Cody’s warnings not to read it. However, this particular event was a complete fabrication by Master Splinter and Cody in order to teach the Turtles a lesson, though this was only because the former got tired by the end.
The Metal Mystic, who controls metal can form blades that can stab or tear enemies asunder. He can also create liquid metal and metallic dust.
The Earth Mystic is larger and more muscular. He can create dust, sand, dirt and mud that blinds or overwhelms enemies, hurl large boulders, and tunnel underground.
The Fire Mystic is dangerous. He can create large flames and fireballs that packs burning touch and explosive power.
The Water Mystic is seen with less progress as he can only make waves of water and choking giant bubbles that submerges someone and drown them. He is also capable of creating walls of ice as well as freezing.
The Wind Mystic is the most agile and flexible. He can conjure powerful wind currents such as tornadoes and can dodge many attacks and is shown to run faster than other beings. Although all of the Mystic Ninjas can fly, the Wind Ninja is the fastest while in the air.
Foot Mystics eventually became part of the Mirage universe. Later in the series, they began resembling their 2003 series incarnation.
The Foot Fire Mystic toy was released in 2004.
The Foot Mystics are bosses in the 2003 video game.
The Foot Mystics also appear in the DS version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare.
Two identical Foot Mystics serve as the third boss in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Battle for the City. They are unidentifiable, as they wear gear similar to the Metal Mystic, but shoot fire from their weapons, and have arms and legs that look like they are decaying.

The Foot Mechs, also known as Foot Gunners orFoot Gunner Ninja, were robots created by Baxter Stockman for the Foot Clan in the 2003 TV series. The Foot Mechs were based on the Utrom exosuits and had advanced weaponry, but because they were formed around a rare Utrom biochip, only nine were recovered, including replications of the President of the United States, the Prime Minister of England andSplinter. The Splinter Mech was sent to infiltrate theTurtles’ base and destroy them from within, but was ultimately found out and destroyed by Zog. Eventually, all the Foot Mechs were destroyed by the Turtles. Foot Gunner Ninja was a boss in the console/PC versions of the 2003 video game. The Foot Mechs appear in the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. The Foot Mechs were seen in a few levels on the Utrom Shredder’s ocean liner. When they were destroyed by a player they could still do a lot of damage when they explode. They were good shooters in the game but lacked many of the things they did in the series. Foot Mechs could shoot once but when attacked they would shoot three laser blasts at once. In the GBA version they would appear in the T.C.R.I. building.
In the series the Utrom Shredder created nine but in the game there were many more than that. Foot Gunner Ninja from the first TMNT game had a large shield, had missiles to throw at a player, and could shoot out large flames of fire. Foot Gunner Ninja was only seen in one level but made a second appearance in the Challenge Mode level. Foot Gunner Ninja is not in the series at all but his design is similar to the Foot Mechs. Foot Gunner Ninja walked slow so it was easy for him to lose sight were his enemy went.
The Foot Mechs in the series were pretty tough. In the series they could throw out a chain and bring a person close to them so they could cut them with a saw that came from their stomach area. The Foot Mechs made another appearance in the 2003 show in season three episode Exodus, Part 1 in the introduction sequence, while they would make one last appearance in the season four episode Bad Day when the Utrom Shredder gathers up most of the Ninja Turtles enemies. The Foot Mech version of Master Splinter first battled the Turtles in the series but was defeated by Zog. Foot Mech Splinter was in the video game but had more tricks up his sleeves. Foot Mech Splinter had a shield, lasers and could move at an incredible speed. In the game Foot Mech Splinter also appeared in the Battle NexusTournament in the Foot Fight Mode along with other Foot Clan Members.
The Foot Elite Guard also known as Shredder’s Elite Guard, is a group of the most accomplished ninjas in the Foot Clan who serve The Shredder as bodyguards and field leaders. The weapons they use are the Sai Prong, Kama, Sword, Battle Ready Axe, Swift Sinister Swords, Chaos Club, trident, manriki-gusari, spear, ax, and twin bladed sword.
The best of the best in the New York Foot Clan; warriors trained personally by Oroku Saki and who swear allegiance to no one but him. Leonardoencountered two Shredder Elite the winter he found himself faced by the resurrected Shredder and managed to slay one of them before falling into a trap (Leonardo special). Over a year later, when the Turtles invaded the Shredder’s Hudson Block headquarters, Leonardo slew four more before going on to defeat Oroku Saki for the second and final time. The four Elite had, however, nearly killed Raphael before Leonardo intervened (TMNT Vol. 1, #21). Following the death of Oroku Saki, the New York Foot Clan dispersed into warring factions. The Shredder Elite allied themselves with none of them, being honor bound to avenge their master and slay the Turtles. Soon the Shredder Elite joined the fighting, openly slaying Foot Soldiers. When Karai, leader of the Japan Foot, came to New York to quell the troubles and reintegrate the Shredder Elite, they reacted with extreme prejudice, forcing her to call upon the assistance of the Foot Clan’s former enemies, the Turtles. The Elite then slew Karai’s daughter. Upon the promise of peace were they to help, the Turtles managed to take out the Elite with Karai’s help, though two committed seppuku. In the final battle against the last of the Shredder Elite, Karai disguised herself as Shredder to confuse them. Leonardo killed the last Elite, finally sealing the truce between the Foot Clan and his brothers (TMNT Vol. 1, #50 – 61). They also appear in Tales of the TMNT vol 2 #36 “To Serve and Protect” and Tales of the TMNT #69 “Dark Shadows”.
Years later, to infiltrate the headquarters of the new Shredder, Raphael, the other Turtles took out two Shredder Elite and disguised themselves in their clothing. The Elite in question had evidently pledged allegiance to Raphael when he became the Shredder, though Raphael was unaware of them (TMNT Vol. 3, #16). It then seemed the Elite had pledged allegiance to a different claimant to leader of the New York Foot, possibly Pimiko, the daughter of Oroku Saki (TMNT Vol. 3, #18). With the impartial support of two members of the Japan Foot Clan’s ruling Council of Five, she appeared before Raphael with her now-clearly loyal Shredder Elite, proclaiming her birthright as the heir to the mantle of the Shredder, issuing a challenge (TMNT Vol. 3, #20 & 21). The last of the Shredder Elite were killed off by Pimiko (TMNT Vol. 3, #23).
While an action figure was released the Elite don’t actually appear on the show.
The Foot Elite from the 2003 TV series appeared to have the ability to teleport and surprise anyone at anytime. They were also really good with their weapons. Each one carries their own special weapon, a trident, a twin bladed sword, a spear, and a battle axe. The Shredder sends them out on special missions that need to be accomplished quickly and effectively.
They make their first appearance inThe Shredder Strikes Back, Part 1. Once The Shredder appears on the scene, they bow respectfully and engage in battle with Leonardo. While Leo puts up a good fight, he is overwhelmed by their skill and power. They throw Leo through April’s apartment window and then hand Leo’s swords over to their master, who proceeds to break them in half.
In The Shredder Strikes Back, Part 2, they are seen waiting for the Turtles downstairs in April’s shop as a trap. After receiving compliments on their attire, they battleRaphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello. They prove to be tough opponents for the Turtles, as they eventually overwhelm them. Once The Utrom Shredder himself shows up in the shop, they stand by his side ready to attack again. The Elite are ordered to finish off the Turtles as Shredder fights Splinter, but they’re interrupted by the arrival of Casey Jones. All four of them were knocked out by Casey. They would appear in many more episodes and fight the Turtles many more times. They would also appear fighting alongside the Utrom Shredder in Return to New York and Secret Origins, Part 3.
When the Utrom Shredder was seemingly dead, the Elite led the Foot in a secret civil war against the Purple Dragons and the Mafia. Near its end, they presumed that their master returned, bringing all factions to the old Foot tower. But it was actually Karai in disguise, seeking to restore order. One of the Elite refused to submit to her until she slashed his hat. {C The Elite would also reappear in Rogue in the House, Part 1 and the Turtles would fight them again in Rogue in the House, Part 2, and Exodus, Part 1 where they are taken out by Bishop when they are trying to protect Ch’rell while he is escaping. They would reappear in Bad Day which would turn out to be an illusion created by the Foot Mystics. When Karai became the new Shredder, the Elite wore new garments. They would fight beside Karai in her attack on the Turtles lair inScion of the Shredder The Utrom Shredder had four Foot Elite Ninjas even in the 1960s as shown in A Tale of Master Yoshi where in the introduction sequence they would be defeated quickly by Hamato Yoshi, although they would make some cameo appearances during the attack on the Utrom Hideout during the actual episode. The Elite would fight the Turtles one last time in Good Genes, Part 2 Peter Laird said on his blog that the Elite’s teleportation is meant to be “an exaggerated way to show their incredible level of skill in ninja techniques of disappearing and reappearing via a combination of sheer speed and distractions such as smoke bombs”.
In The Lost Episodes the Elite can still be seen working for the Foot under Karai. In New World Order, Part 1 they try to attack the Tengu Shredder but are defeated by him when he turns their weapons against them.
Master Khan could also be one of the foot elite due to the fact that he could moves just as fast the Foot Elites. The foot elite theme music also comes on when Khan appears.
The Elite appear as boss characters in the console/PC version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the console/PC version of’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. In the GBA version of the 2003 GBA game, the Foot Elite appears as mini-bosses inside Foot Headquarters, all welding twin bladed swords. In GBA version of Battle Nexus you fight enemies who look like the Mega Motorin’ Elite Guard toy riding Street Cycles in the second New York City stage. They also appear as regular enemies in the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Battle for the City, inside Shredder’s skyscraper, all welding twin bladed swords.

Triceraton is a simple beast, who wants nothing more than to eat rats and destroy Turtles. Ever since our three-fingered green guys visited his homeworld in Dimension X, Triceraton hasn’t gotten his beauty sleep – and boy-oh-boy does it show. This ugly cold-blooded creature uses the full capacity of his walnut-sized brain to seek out and destroy all Turtles! And Triceraton would rather shoot first, since he can’t ask intelligent questions later. His Laser Phaser and Neutron Neutralizer come in handy while chasing the Turtles from the sewers to the streets.
Often employed by the Foot Clan as Advance Attack Alien, Triceraton comes equipped with Platinum-plated Chest Armor, three – count ‘em – three razor sharp horns and a spiny, slashing tail.
