SYNOPSIS:
Still searching for a way to destroy the Turtles, Krang develops a Super Pump that he intends to use to flood the sewers and flush out the boys in green. After sending Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop to make the necessary preparations, Krang begins pumping water out of the ocean into the sewers. Meanwhile, in the lair, Splinter and the Turtles are in the middle of a pizza repast when they are swept away by the sudden onslaught of water.

But back down in the Technodrome, something has gone wrong! Krang’s pump cannot be shut off and more and more water is being sucked from the ocean and dumped into the sewer – which is now overflowing into the streets. Soon, the entire city will be under water!

April is sharing a birthday lunch with Burne Thomspon, who is depressed that he is turning fifty and that there have been no good news stories in weeks. O’Neil is determined to find out the cause of the flood and give Burne a terrific birthday present: the scoop on why the city is being flooded. Meanwhile, the Turtles do their own investigating.

Later, as Shredder and crew make good their escape, relishing in their glory of having destroyed the Turtles, they discover that the Turtles are still alive. Shredder calls Krang for help but Krang has his own problems. It seems that the Super Pump has sucked a giant squid into the Technodrome – but this gives the evil alien an idea – he decides to pump the squid into the city and let it, with the help of a Brain Wave Neutralizer, take care of the TMNT.

Shortly, Shredder loses possession of the remote control unit for the Brain Wave Neutralizer to the Turtles, who program the Giant Squid to harass him and his sidekicks (Rocksteady and Bebop). Meanwhile, the Super Pump is somehow stuck in reverse and is now draining the water from the city and flooding the Technodrome, and, thanks to Michaelangelo’s insistence to “play” with the controls, Shredder and company escape.

All’s well that ends well, as Donatello removes the Brain Wave Neutralizer from the head of the squid so that it may return to the open sea. April delivers Burne’s birthday present: the whole story caught on tape.
